CEO & President, HopeNW

Chris Hodges


Chris graduated with his BA from Southwestern A/G University in Waxahachie, Texas. Having a passion for leadership he completed his Master degree in Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University in 2009. Chris started in full time ministry in 1998 at Mid-America Teen Challenge in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Chris was selected to serve at the Executive Director of Spokane Teen Challenge in 2000.  Chris was then elected to serve as the CEO/President of Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge in 2005 and continues to serve in this position.

Chris has also served on a number of committees and boards including the Teen Challenge USA corporate board, Teen Challenge Africa Advisory committee and most recently on the Global Teen Challenge corporate board of directors.




VP of Ministry Operations

Russ Tappero


Russ and Jen Tappero grew up together in Olympia, Washington at Evergreen Christian Center. They were married in 1991 and enrolled at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. Russ graduated in 1994 and was ordained by the Northwest Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God in 1995. Russ and Jen served in youth ministry and associate work in Washington state from 1993 to 2000. They served churches in Edmonds, Sedro-Woolley, Bothell, and Medical Lake. In 2001 Russ and Jen began pastoring Ridgeview Christian Center in Spokane, Wa.

During their 5 year tenure, Russ served on the local committee and state board of Pacific Northwest Teen Challenge Spokane Men’s Center. Russ was also elected to serve as Presbyter of the Spokane Section of the Northwest Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God in November of 2004.




VP of Business Operations

Rodger Snodgrass


Rodger served for 12 years as a volunteer on a Teen Challenge local committee, then as a corporate board member. In April of 2009, he was hired as the Director of Business Development for Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge Centers, bringing with him over 35 years of retail management experience.

His retail background and leadership has contributed to tremendous financial growth. It is his desire to serve every student with vocational training while financially supporting the ministry.
