My name is Sarah. I have two daughters; Kali (age 11) and Kassidy (age 6).
At age 30, I found myself separated and raising two girls on my own. I grabbed onto alcohol to fill the emptiness and numb the pain. I became overwhelmed with the responsibility of trying to do everything in my own strength. The State stepped in and took my daughters from me. I hit rock bottom.
I went to Teen Challenge completely ready to surrender my life—all that I had been carrying around for so long. I decided to let the Lord be my strength. He opened doors and brought my daughters back to me on April 8th, 2011 at Hannah’s House.
God has been filling in the voids and breaking old mind sets—transforming every area of my life. He prepared me and gave me the tools that I needed to step out the door in faith on November 13th.
I have begun a new journey here in Eugene, Oregon, and I am confident that the Lord will provide the need and desire of my heart.
