Support the work of Teen Challenge Portland Metro Men's Center
Teen Challenge utilizes a grassroots approach that encourages the local centers to tailor programs to the needs of their area. A majority of the funds are raised by the local centers from individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations in their local area. The centers operate with full and part-time staff members. Each year thousands of volunteers, largely from churches, contribute valuable time and skills, making it possible for Teen Challenge centers to operate with low overhead. Approximately 80% of funds go directly into recovery and/or prevention programs.
Each center operates as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with its own board of directors. A financial audit or review is required by Teen Challenge International to encourage sound financial practices.
