The student housing apartments at the Portland Metro Campus of Adult & Teen Challenge are in need of a makeover. These eight (8) apartments in two (2) buildings are housing men who have a desire to regain control of their lives by breaking free from drug and alcohol abuse.
We are asking for your help for this remodel project. Your gift will make a huge difference in someone's life!

Make a House a Home Project
All student apartments need to be upgraded to contribute to a healthy environment for our men. Some of our urgent priorities in some or all apartments are:
- New flooring, new doors, baseboards, replacing hardwood stairs, kitchen remodels, new vanities and more.
- Replacing older washers and dryers, install ceiling fans, and new dinnerware and microwaves for each kitchen.
- New furnishings are needed, such as new sturdier bunk beds for all units, chests of drawers (up to 42), new dining room tables and chairs to seat 6, living room chairs, coffee tables, side tables, floor lamps, pictures and wall hangings, and new window coverings.
- Finally, outside we want to install new fencing (wood fencing and some wrought iron fencing), pour new concrete patios, purchase patio furniture, and update the landscaping.
Our first phase goal is $25,000. We will be posting updates. Thank you again for your generosity as we see lives changed!
