Matt

My name is Matt, and I am 32 years old from Snohomish, Washington. I dropped out of high school my Junior year. I went to work in the construction industry. I leveraged my construction skills through the real estate boom by flipping houses. Pride blurred my vision and my partying turned to bigger risks. I soon found OxyContin which ultimately lead to intravenous Heroin use. I lost multiple homes to foreclosure, cars repossessed and the collapse of my business. Within twelve months I found myself no longer living in my luxurious home but rather residing in a tent.

Todd

My name is Todd, and before coming to Adult & Teen Challenge I would lie, cheat, and steal to get what I wanted.  I had no desire to live anymore. I was at the point where I was going to take my own life. I found myself wondering who I was. I had voids inside that I was trying to fill with drugs. I was living on the streets with only a backpack, trying to find a place to stay every night. I had burned every bridge so I cried out for help. I had tried several secular rehabs which didn't have what I needed.

“To proclaim the year of the Lords favor, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”    Isaiah 61:2-3

“Teen Challenge introduced me into a life with my Father.  A life not lived perfectly but a life that continues to call upon Him, and when I have failed 1000 times He carries me through the pain and helps me move forward.”

Dianne Sundby

Savannah

Hello my name is Savannah, I am 22 years old and the oldest of three. From the beginning I was raised in a broken home; my father was sent to prison when I was only four years old. Before I was five years old I had been sexually abused and my whole perception of life was altered. Growing up I was teased and put down—I felt as though I was never good enough. By the age of 17 I found myself entering into heavy drug abuse.

Brennan Williams

My journey to Teen Challenge was a very trying and intense time in my life. Growing up I had always excelled in athletics, whether it was baseball, football, or even basketball. At the age of 10 I got really involved in baseball and found my identity in that. Succeeding in sports seemed to please everyone around me, so if they were happy I was happy.

My name is Nathan Matchett, I’m 22 years old and I was born and raised in Forks, Washington. This is my testimony, I grew up in a Godly home where my parents were Christ followers and I knew who God was and what was right and what was wrong.  Growing up my mom and dad instilled Godly values and I had structure and discipline. Being involved in the Assembly of God I even went through the Royal Ranger Program and eventually became a leader in it and learned the importance of being a Godly example.

Terrance Nelson

My name is Terrance Nelson. I am twenty-six years old, and I completed the Teen Challenge program in January of 2011. February of 2011 is when I began my internship. During my program and internship I've been stretched. From the internship being extended from six months to one year and adding TCMI. At first I was nervous, but determined...

TCMI

God has faithfully purged from the pit of my soul, those things that put me on a 40 year search for the love of God that was there all along.

My name is Debbie. I turned 57 years old in October, 2011. I came to Teen Challenge from Florida when I was 55. God has saved my life and changed me forever as I have learned to trust Him and commit my life to Him.
