Boise Girls Academy

We had a generous donor who wanted to spoil the girls with a fun activity for fall. We were able to go and eat some great food at a local buffet and spend the evening at a Pumpkin Patch that included rides, petting zoo, hot chocolate, and fresh hot little donuts.

We are still working hard on the new property and making it a nice home away from home for our girls. The men from 3 of our centers and Kurt spent a week helping us accomplish many things on our list. Thank you all for your hard work, support, and/or financial gifts to make this a possibility.

Portland Metro Campus

We have had a busy month for itinerations!! Some of these amazing Churches were new for the Portland Men’s Center.

We visited the Astoria Assembly of God Church for the first time and even got to visit the beach. The outreach team and I went to the Bridge Church in SE Portland and had a great time with amazing people. Revolution Church is always a favorite of mine and it was no disappointment to have our guys share their stories. The whole center was hosted by the Community of Faith church family for a night before Thanksgiving Meal and fellowship. Pictured is one of our guys giving his testimony. The last church visit for this month was Clackamas Valley Baptist Church right here in Estacada. Smaller church family, but large in heart and presence of God. Our Men’s stories had such a powerful impact on these incredible people. This was the first time that we have been to this church but I am confident that it won’t be the last time. We also had 2 guys move from 3rd phase to 4th phase Ellis and Spencer.

Missoula Campus

We recently celebrated with one of our students who completed the program. We had an amazing turn out and a wonderful time of prayer. Kelenda walked through our doors a year ago, not wanting to be here and unsure whether being in the program would make a difference in her life. She completed this month with a heart that has been transformed and renewed by God. She has plans to do several mission trips in 2019 and will be working with a local non-profit as well.

Griz For Kids & Mountain of Giving
Our Student Life Coordinator, Jayne and intern, Jessica volunteered for Griz for Kids at the University of Montana Griz football game. Griz for Kids partners with Mountain of Giving which is a community wide toy drive that raises money and donations of new toys for children in need at the holidays. In order to participate in the Mountain of Giving, organizations must volunteer at the Griz for Kids toy drive. Because we have volunteered and helped out, the women in our program have been able to participate and have been able to pick out toys for their children to have Christmas gifts.

Eugene Campus

This fall the women and children at our Eugene Campus kicked off the holiday season by putting on their first Fashion Show and Luncheon Benefit! It was such a fun, wonderful event enjoyed by all who attended. A heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers, staff, interns, sponsors, local businesses and the development team from our regional office!

Tri-Cities Jail Ministry

It’s that special time of year again when we help the miracle of Christmas enter the jails, prisons, and communities of the Pacific Northwest. Our volunteers are preparing Christmas cards and notes to make sure that every life that our ministry touches receives a message of love and hope. These mailings go where we are unable to go, even to Federal prisons throughout the United States. For some women, this will be their only Christmas card and may even be the only piece of positive mail they receive. Sixteen of our volunteers will be addressing and writing personal messages to the hundreds of women on our list. Your gifts help purchase cards and postage and your prayers help God’s love reach the hearts of the women reading them. Thank you for helping us extend God’s amazing offer of hope this Christmas.

Graham Campus

Darcy completed one year at Pacific Northwest adult and teen challenge in Graham. It was such a joy for her to meet her sponsors at her completion Ceremony. Darcy is currently staying on For phase 5 and has excepted a full-time position at the Graham post office. Darcy is celebrating her new life in Christ I’m looking forward to growing more and serving Christ and her community. Darcy came to Graham campus a woman broken from her alcoholism. She had been to numerous rehab programs and they had all been unsuccessful. Her stay at the Graham campus was her family’s last hope. She considers her journey with the Lord to have just started and it’s so beautiful to see the transformation of surrender and obedience in her life every day as she encounters the grace of God. We are so very proud of Darcy and the potential ahead of her.

My name is Heidi and I am currently an intern at Graham campus. I am so grateful to have an opportunity to intern at the Graham campus. Every day I have many opportunities to share my faith with the ladies and encourage them that God is so good and that he has a good plan and to keep pushing forward. I love Serving this ministry and the ability to help wherever I can. Right now we are in the Christmas tree lot season and it has been so much fun. God has shown me that He has come to give me life and life abundantly and I love this new life and the freedom that I have that I never had before. I am so grateful for everything that I have learned through my leadership and the amazing women of God that I’m surrounded by every day. I love learning from them that being a woman of God is fun and exciting and new every day no matter what I have to do.  I am very excited for what’s ahead of me and for the hope that I now have that I did not have before.    Heidi S

We have already started celebrating the Christmas season with some amazing women from different churches. Every year the sound life women celebrate what God is doing in the lives of the teen challenge women. This year they shared their cardboard testimonies to let us know that it’s not us versus them. They wanted us to know that we all have a story and that God is doing something beautiful in all of our lives. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was a beautiful time of worship, good food and fellowship and the women prayed over our ladies and staff. Thank you Sound Life Church for loving Graham campus!

Willamette Valley Campus

Bringing Community Together
Willamette Valley Campus of Adult & Teen Challenging bringing community together in Shedd for the 67th annual Linn County Farm Bureau Dinner. We are surrounded by thousands of acres of farm land and our own campus has 17 acres of development opportunity. We were honored to host and cater this event for the Farm Bureau and had an opportunity to network with local farmers on the best steps to take to start self-sustaining projects on our property. We are thankful and blessed by this local community.

Seattle Campus

We are having so much fun at our Christmas Tree Lot this year. We are sharing the Good News and Putting Hope Within Reach in our Community.

May God fill you with His new goodness everyday and may the Love of Jesus overflow from you to others throughout the New Year.

Central Oregon Campus

Our Thanksgiving celebration was a fun opportunity to have students hang out with their families. We had the Thanksgiving football on traditional turkey dinner and desserts it’s great to see everybody happy enjoying each other’s company and being thankful for the blessings that are in our life. It brought joy to my heart seeing all the students fellowshipping with one another as this house grows healthier and more unified under Christ.
