A message from our Campus Director
Dear Friend,
Thank you for remaining so faithful to the mission of Adult & Teen Challenge. As addiction rates continue to soar through this challenging year, we have been able to reach more people just like Alisa who have found powerful transformation and freedom in Jesus.
God brought us a 22-year old young lady all the way from Illinois. She was in and out of jail due to her addiction to heroin and meth. She was facing prison and her
family was devastated by tragedy as they nearly lost her to an overdose last Labor Day.
The beautiful part of Alisa’s story is that she had a praying Grandfather that had been a minister. The fruit of His prayers played out while she was in our center. She surrendered her life to Christ and cried out for deliverance. God heard her cries with an answer of a healed heart. Shortly after coming in she found out that she was going to have a baby. She now has a beautiful daughter named Genesis. Alisa is an amazing young woman with a call to serve the Lord and there is such an anointing on her that when she speaks it’s very obvious that the Lord is speaking through her. She went through her pregnancy at our center, is an amazing new mom and worked hard to complete the program with integrity and honor.
She has returned to Illinois and her family has an amazing opportunity to live life abundantly with immense gratitude.
This is one of many great miracles that God has done in this last year. There are many more in our community who need to know this same love of God. Because of the support you have already provided, we have been able to serve over 600 men, women and adolescents through our residential programs in 2020. Our campus has set a year end fundraising goal of $50,000. As you consider end of year giving, I am asking you to put your strongest gift towards our goal. Your provision ensures that we are able to start 2021 strong and continue serving the women of our community just like Alisa, who need to have a safe place to experience Jesus. Every penny counts as we finish this year of trials with absolute faith and hope in our glorious Lord and Savior.
