Thank you for remaining so faithful to the mission of Adult & Teen Challenge in 2020. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Seattle Campus family to yours!
A message from our Campus Director
Dear Friend,
Thank you for remaining so faithful to the mission of Adult & Teen Challenge. As addiction rates continue to soar through this challenging year, we have been able to reach more people just like Manuel who have found powerful transformation and freedom in Jesus.
Manuel grew up in a very broken home hating his own life. He loved his family dearly, but had no idea how to love himself or others. In 2018 Manuel had enough of the destructive life of addiction that he was living. He entered Adult & Teen Challenge and discovered the love of Jesus Christ. He began to harvest relationships with his brothers at the campus, but in 2019 he found himself in complete despair, no longer wanting to live. He made an attempt to hang himself, but in that moment, he cried out to God to save him from the dark place he had been living in.
Manuel came to the Seattle Men’s Campus earlier this year. He found an overwhelming sense of peace and has learned to love God, others and himself. He is evidence of the true, divine transformation of God and it is a blessing to watch the miracles work out in his life.
There are so many just like Manuel in our community who need to know this same love of God. Because of the support you have already provided, we have been able to serve over 600 men, women and adolescents through our residential programs in 2020. Our campus has set a year end fundraising goal of $75,000. As you consider end of year giving, I am asking you to put your strongest gift towards our goal. Your provision ensures that we are able to start 2021 strong and continue serving the men of our community just like Manuel, who need to have a safe place to experience Jesus. Every penny counts as we finish this year of trials with absolute faith and hope in our glorious Lord and Savior.
Again, thank you for your continued faithfulness in Helping us Put Hope Within Reach!
Christmas Blessings,
Frank Gomez
