Graham Women’s Center

The ladies get to help at the local food bank every Tuesday, they help sort and give out food. The women love to give back to the community and help feed people in need! It is one of the highlights of their week.

We recently had our golf tournament. Thank you to all the sponsors, supporters and men who participated in making this a success. We really look forward to next year!

Bethany Christian Assembly came out and had lunch with the women. They come out once a year and we get to share testimony and all the amazing ways God is moving in these women’s lives. We also got to celebrate Helens birthday with her.

Student Testimony:
“Before coming to Teen Challenge I was living on the front steps of a church in Portland, Oregon. I was addicted to heroin and meth. Since I have been at the Graham women’s center I have reconnected with the lord and he is growing my faith every day, God is restoring my relationship with my dad who I haven’t talked to in 3 years and I am learning how to give back and I am  no longer a taker!” – Misty

Willamette Valley Men’s Center

Last weekend the Willamette Valley Campus of Adult & Teen Challenge hosted an Open House.  The purpose of the event was to invite past and current supporters, neighbors from the Shedd community and those who are wanting to find out more about our ministry.  During this event we promoted upcoming fundraiser events, shared the Director, Troy Cunningham’s vision for growth and direction, provided tours of the campus and answered any questions from attenders.  We were blessed with people signing up to volunteer in a variety of capacities, a group to start our monthly Prayer Team, and a new beginning of a Ladies Auxiliary.  We had a great turnout that will be fruitful.  Thank you to those who were able to join us.  It’s not too late to get involved.  Feel free to contact Troy directly at 541-491-1002 or troy.cunningham@teenchallengepnw.com.

Boise Girls Academy

We are so excited for our new property. We just finalized the paperwork and last week and the keys are in our hands. We will be able to increase our capacity from 20 students to 48. We have a lot of walls to paint and carpet to clean. We hope to move in to our new place in early November.

We baptized 9 students at Spiritual Emphasis this year. We also had a student who got baptized last Sunday.

Seattle Men’s Center

We are so thankful and excited for the three students who successfully completed our program recently. We have seen an extreme change in this three men. They are set up for success as they re-enter back into our communities. They are well connected to various resources that will help them and guide them on their journey to complete recovery and freedom in Christ. They are excited for a new beginning and a new life. We are truly Putting Hope Within Reach. All Praise, Honor, and Glory to God.

Tri-Cities Jail Outreach

As women begin to grow in their faith and trust in God, they need to fill their minds and hearts with His words. Using small Scripture verse cards is one way in which these words are right at women’s fingertips. We call them “Pass It On cards and women ask for the new ones each time we come in. They put these next to their coffee cup or use them as bookmarks for remembering special places in their new Bibles. These cards can also be earned for completing Bible studies designed to help character development and recovery from addiction so women’s faith is mirrored by their actions. How special it is to see, women walking away from the things that would have been impossible to resist before.

Central Oregon Men’s Center

With school back in session we have been active with our Stay Sharp presentations in the Central Oregon region. We have built a quite healthy reputation and now the local school district has approached us to speak with their student athletes who have been suspended for nicotine based vaping/Juul use. Unfortunately there are issues like that among the young people, still we are blessed to be able to aid in addressing these issues.
